In 1991, a series of meetings began among representatives of California's life and health insurance companies, health professionals, consumer organizations and children's advocacy groups in order to identify an agenda to promote the safety and health of the state's children.

Mission Statement

The California Coalition for Children's Safety & Health exists to prevent injury and death to children and promote their heath and well-being.
