The California Coalition for Children's Safety & Health exists to prevent injury and death to children and promote their health and well-being.
The Epidemiology and Prevention for Injury Control (EPIC) branch is the focal point for the Department of Health Services' injury prevention efforts, both epidemiological investigations and implementation of prevention programs to reduce intentional and unintentional injuries. EPICenter was created to fulfill EPIC's mission of providing accurate, timely and objective information on injuries. It is the most complete source of injury data for California.
The Injury Prevention Web hosts the web sites of several agencies and organizations working to prevent injuries. This site contains a weekly literature update of recent journal articles and agency reports, injury data for every U.S. state, and more than 1400 links to government and non-profit injury prevention sites worldwide.
The Children's Safety Network Injury Data Technical Assistance Center assists regional, state and local agencies and organizations with gathering and using information about the occurrence of injuries and the prevalence of risk factors to identify problems, focus program responses, and evaluate prevention programs.
